I have several V5 units with remotes and recently purchased a V6. The V5 remotes cannot program the V6 unit. Is this normal? Is there a way to get the V5 remotes to work with the V6? The remotes which came with the V6 will not program with the V5 either.
V5 remotes can’t work with newer receivers (V6), it is normal.
V6 remotes, however, can work with both old & new receivers, see below.
