Using 202U to operate electric gate latch

I have a security gate in my front entryway that has an electric latch built into it (like getting buzzed into a doctors office, etc). I have doorbell ac/24v power available and the latch also runs off that power. How would I wire a 202U in the middle of that circuit, so the remote would trigger the latch?

The latch, it will lock when power applied, and release when power turned off?

If so, just use one of our relay to control the power to electric latch, it should work fine.

For our 202U v5, you can use timed output mode, so the latch will be turned on for the time you need.
