I am using the Solidremote 202U to open my old garage door opener. I set it up exactly like the solution in the topic above “How to set up the KIT-1 as a garage door receiver”. When I go to program the remotes, the Signal LED is constantly illuminated…even without pressing PRG1 or PRG2. So needles to say, it’s not programming the receivers at all. Could there be an issue with the unit? I’ve tried using both relays but I keep getting the same results. Any idea?

SIG led should be off initially when receiver powered up.
If it is constantly on, it could be defective.

First try power up our receiver using a different power supply, such as standard 12vdc power adapter (since sometimes power cause weird problem).
If it still shows same behaviour, return it for full refund.
