Resetting transmitter; LED light indicates sent a code?

Hi,

I am thinking of clearing the transmitter from the receiver memory and resetting the transmitter in case someone is jamming and grabbing the codes (occasionally the receiver doesn’t act on a code). If I do this does the transmitter start over with a new random seed code or will it just generate the same security codes as it did the first time (making clearing and re-setting the transmitter effectively a waste of time)?

A related question: if the LED lights up on the transmitter does that mean that it sent a code to the receiver?

Thanks

Clearing the code and re-setting won’t solve the problem, code is same.

Transmitter LED lights up means it sends code.
