I have 2 lift master garage doors openers and the old remotes worked only intermittently. I purchased two new remotes and programmed them both, and that worked fine. They work fine inside the garage when they’re close to the motor however, when I’m outside in the car, trying to open the door, they won’t work, or only occasionally will. Seems like they can’t transmit that far? Any help would be appreciated.
If both remotes have short range, maybe the motor receiver unit has problem.
Maybe you can try stretch antenna on motor unit first, to see if there is any range improvement.
