Old Opener and Programming Question

I’m confident that I’ll be able to properly wire up the Solidremote KIT-1 to my parents’ existing opener, but I’m unclear if the KIT-1 will actually work with my parents’ opener since it is so old.

Right now, you have to hold down a wall-mounted button for about 2 seconds to open (or close) the garage door.

Would the KIT-1 work with my type of garage opener system? And if so, would I need to change the KIT-1’s default programming or could I leave the defaults as is?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

(I believe the opener is an Overhead Door Ultronic model E, which is likely over 40 to 50 years old)

Usually a brief activation signal (such as 202u’s default settings) will work.
If the opener needs more than 2 seconds signal, please check 202u’s timed output settings.
