I am trying to replace a metlund d’mand wireless for a recirculating pump for a water heater. There are three wires red black green. I hooked the red black to the controller and the led power light comes on. I can program the remote. Where does the green wire go? If you connect the red and black the pump turns on.

I believe the problem is the power is 5 bolts and receiver needs 9 v. Does anyone know of a 5v receiver?
Maybe you can search 5v receiver on Amazon?
