Is there a way to completely turn off the relay when a limit switch is triggered, so that if the switch is released a motor connected will not start again until input from the remote?
Also is it bad to leave this unit with the limit switch engaged for long periods of time?
Is it possibly to wire say two sensors to the each of the limit switch inputs?
I’m afraid it is not possible, because receiver will restore to the previous status as soon as limit switch removed, your motor will start again.
You can leave the unit with limit switch engaged as long as you need, there is no side effects.
Usually just one sensor for each limit switch, because our limit switch is a simple one (with only two states, on & off), so I’m not sure if it works when you connect two sensors.
