I HAVE KIT-1 UNIT
WHEN I PROGRAM DIP SWITCHES 1 ON 2 OFF 3 OFF UNIT IS IN HOLD MODE
WHEN I TEST 1 AND 2 RELAY IT HOLDS FOR A CERTAIN PERIOD THEN TURNS RELAY OFF.
IS IT SUPPOSE TO HOLD AND KEEP RELAY ACTIVATED UNTIL YOU PRESS BUTTON TO DEACTIVATE RELAYS?

ALSO I WAS WONDERING ABOUT LATCHING MODE
DIP SWITCH 1 OFF 2 ON 3 OFF
I CAN ONLY LATCH ONE RELAY AT A TIME, IT SWITCHES TO OTHER RELAY IF I TRY TO PRESS UNACTIVATED RELAY.

To your first question, the hold mode is supposed to keep the relay on, until press remote button again.

When you test the receiver, is there any load on the relay?
And what power supply do you use for our receiver?

There is no load nothing hooked up to relays. Power supply 12vdv, Voltage is about 13+.
It seems to hold for a while but I did not time unit to see how long though.
I am testing another unit on 24 v ac and seems to hold.

I think there are some possibilites,

  1. The receiver is in timer mode, please make sure DIP 3 tab is all the way down to bottom (not stuck in middle).
  2. Perhaps try different power supply.

If it still shows same behaviour, it could be defective, in that case please return the unit for refund, thanks.

I put voltage at 14vdc and relay is holding until remote pressed

Then it should be the power problem.
The reason might be, your original power supply can’t handle enough current during relay holding.
